About

Grigoris Vasilas , one of the top bouzouki soloists and "PYRINAS" band, is a unique ensemble of folk music.

It is another approach to folk sound, which, from a steady remembrance, transforms into fantasy, dreams, colors and perfumes and brings together songs that were loved and sung by all of us in the decades of blooming of rebetiko-folk and artistic song.

They combine the old and the new with great success and its compositions are accessible to both young and old and executed in a way that the bouzouki in its hands looks like an instrument for all kinds of music.

These songs are linked with texts that refer to the particular shades of each era, how they influenced Greek music and which bear the signature of great creators.

Concluding his second solo album in lyrics by the great lyricist Kostas Fasoulas and the exceptional performances by Pantelis Thalassinos, Stavroula Manolopoulou and Christina Lambrou.

Grigoris Vassilis has a long successful course in Greece and abroad, participating in international festivals, by investing in musical plays and films. With his long teaching experience he makes lectures and seminars on the bouzouki.
